Parents have a voice
Our partnership with parents is key to our work and the Parent’s Forum is one of the several forums in which you are invited to come along to share in talking about the running and direction of the centre
Once every six weeks parents and staff get together to talk about ideas, feedback from other parents, successes and concerns. These meetings are very relaxed and informal and everyone is welcome.
Free crèche places are available but must be booked at least 24 hours before the day.
Parent Representatives
Any parent can volunteer to put himself or herself forward as a Parent Representative. Our Partnership Board is made up of parents and staff and the role of the parent members is to act as a link between the community and the centre
The Board meets once every six weeks and parent representatives are expected to come to these meetings. It’s not scary; you’ll learn new skills and could even have fun!
We ask our parent representatives to attend one Children's Centre activity every month, to let other parents and carers know what is going on, and to find out their views on current issues within the centre.

We do provide training and ongoing support.
Travel expenses are paid and a crèche is available if booked 24 hours in advance
