Incredible Years
The Incredible Years is a 12 week course for parents of children aged between 2 and 8 years old. The aim of the group is to build up a positive ‘piggy bank' with your children in order to lessen behaviour difficulties which you may have experienced or be experiencing now. The emphasis of the group is focussed heavily around play and positive attention. At the end of the course we touch on lessening behaviours we don't want to see and spend a couple of weeks on ‘time out'.
Comments from parents: "Knowing that I am not alone in what is going on is reassuring" "It's great to be able to share problems and solutions"
Childcare will be provided. For more information or if you have any questions please contact Vikki or Seretse on 01271 865825 Click the above icon to see Incredible years Flyer

Looking At You Baby Looking at You Baby is an 8 week group for parents with their babies 6 months and under. It is a small friendly group with no more than 8 parents and their children.Topics covered during the 8 weeks: - Crying and your response
- Understanding your baby's cues
- The behaviour your baby is born with
- How you and your baby communicate
- Positioning of your baby
- Taking turns when you communicate and play with your baby
- Eye contact, conversations and smiling
- Developing a conversation with your baby
- Understanding your baby's emotions
- The process of attachment
- Understanding your baby's development
- Playing with your baby
This group has been developed from research that tells of the importance of parents understanding what their babies are trying to communicate before they can use words to ask for what they want. If you can tune into your baby's needs and respond sensitively, there will be huge benefits for your baby and for you, the parent. Babies start communicating with you before they are born and continue to do so the minute they are born. This group will help you to understand what they are trying to say to you. For more information on Looking at You Baby contact Polly or Fiona on 01271 865825.
